Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to grow its book of business by converting competitors’ business and expanding assigned accounts to larger ones. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction through ongoing contact and managing expectations.

The position requires the ability to understand complex customer requirements, deliver effective sales presentations, and coordinate with vendor resources to support sales, while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue by generating new business and growing existing accounts.
• Generate new leads via networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interact with customers face-to-face to maintain relationships and satisfaction.
• Understand customer requirements for customized quoting.
