Job summary

Thompson Safety, LLC is seeking an Account Executive in Houston, TX to develop new business and drive lead generation within the assigned territory. This full-time role is focused on expanding the company’s customer base and maximizing territory growth.

You will document all activity in the CRM, build rapport through in-person and phone outreach, schedule appointments, and close opportunities while upholding safety industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or proven success in a sales/representative role.
• Familiar with safety industry codes, products, attributes and procedures.
• Understanding of business, finances, sales and safety principles.
• Proficient with CRM systems and performance-tracking tools.
• Ability to prospect in-person and by phone, build rapport, and close deals.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to pass checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
• Utilize CRM to document activity and track results.
• Maintain contact with prospects via in-person and phone outreach.
• Develop appointments through territory prospecting and scheduled phone blocks.
• Support marketing programs and share best practices with team.
• Replicate successful strategies observed from peers to grow territory.
• Consistently install new business within assigned territory.
