Job summary

DNV Group is seeking a Head of Department (VP) for Growth, Strategy & Market Development to lead a national, multidisciplinary team in the Energy Management business. The role focuses on winning new business, developing scalable client solutions, and strengthening pricing, quality, and operations to drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in growth strategy within utilities, energy services, consulting, or related markets.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, build alignment across a matrixed organization, and develop effective client and industry relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales-growth objectives by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Develop external partnerships and market strategies driven by trends and opportunities.
• Lead priority proposals by shaping competitive positioning, client-focused solutions, and pricing.
• Coordinate smooth transitions from contract award to implementation and ensure delivery excellence.
• Oversee program design, solutions, and innovation across teams; drive AI/data-enabled decision making.
