Job summary

DNV Group seeks a Head of Department (VP) for Growth, Strategy & Market Development to shape growth for its Energy Management business. You will build and lead a national, multidisciplinary team to win new business, develop scalable client solutions, and strengthen pricing, quality, and operational excellence.

You will influence market insights, client needs, and DNV expertise to create differentiated offerings and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Ten or more years of relevant experience developing and implementing growth strategies within utilities, energy services, consulting, or related markets.
• Significant demand-side management experience, with knowledge of energy markets, utility business models, policy, regulation, and technology.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, build alignment across a matrixed organization, and develop effective client and industry relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales-growth objectives by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Partner with regional leaders to retain and renew current client business.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand demand-side services across utility, commercial, and industrial markets.
• Promote a consultative sales approach grounded in long-cycle, consultative sales, and relationship building.
