Job summary

DNV is seeking a strategic leader to shape growth in its Energy Management practice across a national, multidisciplinary team. The Head of Department will drive new business, develop scalable client offerings, and strengthen commercial and operational capabilities for successful delivery.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will translate market insights into differentiated solutions, lead priority pursuits, and champion pricing, quality, and execution excellence in a dynamic energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of growth-strategy experience in utilities/energy.
• Experience in demand-side management and energy markets.
• Ability to influence outcomes across a matrixed organization.
• Strong client, industry relationships and commercial judgment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business by delivering annual sales-growth objectives and expanding client relationships.
• Develop sales and market strategies aligned with market insights and client needs.
• Lead priority proposals, shaping pricing and client-focused solutions in coordination with Legal.
• Coordinate smooth transitions from contract award to implementation and drive process improvements.
• Promote AI, data and digital tools to improve decision-making, client outcomes, and efficiency.
