Job summary

DNV seeks a Head of Department (VP) for Growth, Strategy & Market Development to shape the next phase of growth for our Energy Management business. You will lead a national, multidisciplinary team, win new business, develop scalable client solutions, and strengthen commercial and operational capabilities that enable delivery.

Reporting to the SVP, you will bring strong utility sales expertise, commercial judgment, and an inclusive leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales-growth objectives by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Partner with regional leaders to retain and renew current client business.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand demand-side services across utility, commercial, and industrial markets.
• Promote a consultative sales approach grounded in long-cycle, consultative sales, and relationship building.
• Identify and translate customer, market, regulatory, technology, competitive, and other emerging trends into effective sales, account, and market strategies.
• Lead priority proposals by shaping competitive positioning, client-focused solutions, and pricing.
