Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Group Sales Manager to drive group sales revenue at Marriott Gateway Park Denver in Aurora, CO. You will lead outbound prospecting, negotiate with clients, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful events and repeat business.

The role requires building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing market trends, and delivering strategic plans to meet revenue targets while upholding service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible management experience in Group Sales or a 4-year degree with 5 years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with experience in managing client relationships.
• Proficiency in creating and executing marketing campaigns, including digital and direct mail promotions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new group business through solicitation, networking, and cold-calling.
• Increase hotel visibility with outside sales calls, blitzes, trade shows, and events.
• Design and execute marketing promotions and campaigns (direct mail, social media, ads).
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and profit margins.
