Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in Aurora, CO to direct and organize activities of the hotel F&B outlets, ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction while supporting day-to-day restaurant, lounge, or other F&B operations.

You will manage operations, team performance, budgets, health and safety, and upselling strategies to improve profitability, with a focus on staffing, training, and maintaining inventory and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field or 1-2 years of related experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in managing F&B operations and budgets.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to calculate discounts, percentages and commissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage outlet operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, and profitability.
• Develop staffing and schedules based on occupancy forecasts and monitor labor costs.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards are met.
• Implement marketing and upselling techniques to maximize F&B revenue.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and pricing for the team.
• Recruit, interview, and train team members to maintain staffing levels and service quality.
• Monitor budget and review financial transactions to ensure expenditures align with budget.
• Maintain inventory of food and equipment with accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies.
