Job summary

Guardian Life in Denver seeks a Group Benefits Sales Representative to drive growth in the Premier Market by building broker and plan holder relationships. You will sell the full benefits portfolio, including dental, vision, life, disability, and absence products, while supporting client well-being and retention.

You will travel up to 60% within the territory and are expected to attain required licenses within 90 days, with base salary around $40,000 plus incentive pay based on performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent industry experience required.
• 4+ years of group insurance sales experience or related Guardian experience.
• Knowledge of Worksite, LTD, dental and absence products, enrollment processes.
• Collaborative team player with strong rapport-building in person and virtual settings.

Responsibilities

• Market, position and sell Guardian’s Group Benefits portfolio to brokers.
• Support broker and client relationships to grow sales and retention for 2–1,999 lives.
• Understand territory dynamics and develop broker networks to expand the book.
• Achieve or exceed personal sales production with product knowledge and tactics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and needs.
• Represent Guardian as a market leader and maintain community ties.
• Identify improvements to increase sales of offerings and license within 90 days.
