Job summary

Guardian Life is seeking a Group Benefits Sales Representative in Pittsburgh to build Premier Market broker and plan holder relationships, driving sales for groups of 2-1999 lives with a focus on 100-1999 lives.

The role reports to the Market Leader and requires a BS/BA or equivalent experience, plus at least two years in group insurance sales. Travel up to 60% is expected, with a base salary and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of two years' group insurance sales experience or related activity.
• Experience with Worksite, LTD, Dental products, absence products, online enrollment, experience rating, dental network analysis.

Responsibilities

• Market, position, and sell Guardian’s Group Benefits portfolio to designated brokers.
• Support broker and client relationships to grow sales and retention.
• Understand territory dynamics to expand broker relationships and book of business.
• Achieve or exceed personal sales production through products knowledge and tactical strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and customer demands.
• Represent Guardian as a market leader and maintain community relationships.
• Identify and champion process improvements to increase product sales.
• Obtain industry licensing within 90 days and maintain through CE requirements.
