Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking a Group Benefits Sales Representative to build Premier Market broker relationships and drive ongoing sales and retention for groups of 2-1,999 lives, with a primary focus on 100-1,999 lives. The role reports to the Market Leader in the assigned territory and requires up to 60% travel, based in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

You will market Guardian’s Group Benefits portfolio including Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Absence, and Supplemental

Qualifications

• A BS, BA degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of two years' group insurance sales experience.
• Experience with Worksite, LTD, Dental and absence products plus online enrollment.
• Licensing within 90 days of hire and ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Market, position, and sell Guardian’s Group Benefits portfolio to designated brokers.
• Develop and maintain Premier Market broker relationships to grow the book of business.
• Drive sales production and client retention for groups of 2-1,999 lives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and demands.
• Represent Guardian in communities and professional networks.
