Job summary

Block by Block is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to oversee our Ambassador Team and serve as the lead on all program aspects, including personnel management, equipment handling, and resource deployment. The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service, budgeting, and a solid work ethic.

The supervisor will recruit, onboard, train Ambassadors, and optimize daily deployments to fit changing needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years managerial/supervisory experience
• Must have a valid driver\'s license
• Ability to drive and operate a pickup truck with a trailer
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of Ambassadors and train new team members.
• Adjust deployment of resources to meet changing daily needs.
• Identify and solve program issues to improve quality; lead with innovation.
• Handle purchasing and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Report outcomes via spreadsheets, Kronos, timekeeping and budgets.
• Act as a hands-on working manager, coaching and training in policies and procedures.
