Block by Block is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee one of our ambassador programs. The role requires 5–7 years of leadership in facilities operations or public space maintenance and strong client relationship skills.

You will hire, train, and supervise a team, deploy resources, and monitor program quality. The position emphasizes hands-on management, communication, and the ability to adapt to diverse outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; College degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in facilities operations management or public space maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train a skilled, dependable team.
• Adjust resource deployment to changing needs.
• Identify and solve problems to improve program quality.
• Procure and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Report outcomes through spreadsheets, timekeeping, budgets.
• Provide hands-on coaching and supervision in the field.
