Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior and common areas of our properties and assist the maintenance team. The role includes cleaning make-readies, landscaping tasks, and supporting community functions.

Qualifications include at least one year of related experience, English communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work on-call with weekends. Spanish language is a plus; safety and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks and maintain safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Ability to represent the company professionally.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours, including weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to organize & prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior and common areas in clean, attractive condition.
• Assist maintenance team and support community events.
• Clean litter, sweep and blow breezeways, and manage areas around dumpsters.
• Clean make-readies and vacant apartments; assist with pool maintenance.
• Water plants, maintain sprinkler system, and apply basic insecticides/fertilizers.
• Mow, trim, reseed, and replant lawns; prune trees/shrubs.
• Weed planted areas and manage drainage; replace light bulbs in breezeways.
