Job summary

Crane solicits an Operational Account Coordinator to serve as the main contact for a high‑value customer account. You will convert customer demand into validated bookings, monitor shipments, and manage exceptions from booking to delivery.

You will own customer communications, coordinate with planning teams, and ensure data accuracy across TMF and Aljex. The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and experience with freight operations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of freight, 3PL account coordination, customer service, or transportation operations.
• Hands‑on experience with transportation management systems; familiarity with e2open TMF and Descartes Aljex preferred.
• Excellent written communication — able to summarize an exception clearly for both a customer and an internal escalation.

Responsibilities

• Own all customer account communication, including escalations, status requests, and exception notifications.
• Coordinate pickup/delivery appointments with the Capacity Planning Specialist and update systems accordingly.
• Review open loads and determine consolidation opportunities to avoid duplicate coverage.
• Ensure bookings are complete and correct at first release to prevent downstream rework.
