Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an Account Operations Coordinator to manage customer bookings and act as the first control point for ground shipments in Houston. You will convert customer requests into TMF bookings, ensure complete data at first release, and coordinate with Ops on capacity and appointments.

You will own customer communications, monitor exception boards, and escalate issues with detailed context to prevent service failures, while leveraging TMF, Aljex, and Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in freight, 3PL account coordination, customer service, or transportation operations.
• Demonstrated ability to own a customer relationship operationally.
• Ability to read a load or shipment board and make consolidation judgments.
• Hands‑on experience with transportation management systems; familiarity with e2open TMF and Descartes Aljex preferred.
• Working knowledge of US domestic ground freight modes and lifecycle from booking to invoice.
• Excellent written communication—able to summarize an exception clearly for customers and internal escalation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Own all communication with the assigned customer account, including escalations and status requests.
• Validate bookings and convert customer demand into bookings in TMF.
• Review open loads for consolidation and document the rationale.
• Coordinate with Operations Supervisor and Capacity Manager on capacity and appointments.
• Ensure changes to dates propagate across systems (TMF, Aljex) and are communicated.
• Escalate operational exceptions and tooling gaps to the Program Manager.
• Monitor boards for exceptions and act before they become service failures.
