Job summary

Crane Solutions LLC is seeking an Operational Account Coordinator, Ground to be the entry point for ground shipments. You will convert customer demand into validated bookings in TMF, acting as the first control point for consolidation to prevent duplicates and ensure accuracy at first release.

You will own all customer-facing communication, manage appointment confirmations, and escalate where needed. The role requires coordinating with capacity and operations and maintaining clear, proactive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
• 2–4 years in freight, 3PL, or transportation operations
• Ability to own a customer relationship operationally
• Read a load/shipment board and consolidate using a defined decision tree
• Hands-on experience with transportation management systems; TMF/Aljex preferred
• Working knowledge of US domestic ground freight modes and lifecycle from booking to invoice
• Excellent written communication; summarize exceptions clearly
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Responsibilities

• Own intake, build orders, and validate bookings at first release
• Review current open loads to determine consolidation opportunities
• Own all customer communications, including escalations and appointment confirmations
• Coordinate with Capacity Planning and Operations for changes to bookings
• Escalate exceptions with facts and impact to the chain of command
