Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Management professional to lead day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor staff, direct staffing, and drive sales while upholding Meijer standards and customer service excellence. You will analyze performance, coach team members, and promote internal growth opportunities.

You will ensure staffing, training, and policy compliance, while maintaining a safe, productive store environment with a focus on prime hours and strong product presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient service to customers and team members.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Mentor and coach team, promote career paths and development.
• Apply disciplinary actions as needed and advise on discharge decisions.
• Manage P&L, drive sales and minimize shrink.
