Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor staff, drive sales, manage staffing, and uphold Meijer standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will oversee training, succession planning, and performance management, ensuring safety and consistency in daily operations across the store’s prime hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clearly and direct团队 members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career paths and development for team members; support promotions.
• Disciplinary actions and recommendations regarding discharge.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales, and control shrink.
• Provide exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
• Model the Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and operations.
• Mentor team members to exceed service and sales goals.
• Ensure thorough training and compliance across the team.
