Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to oversee daily operations, staffing, and customer service across departments. You will mentor teammates, drive sales, ensure brand standards, and maintain a welcoming store environment during peak hours.

The role requires 2–3 years retail experience, at least 1 year in management, and strong communication. You will apply discipline when needed, lead with safety in mind, and promote career growth through development programs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze data.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with cross-department rotations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development for team members.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches team members to meet sales goals and Meijer standards.
• Spends majority of time in-store communicating with customers and team members.
• Promotes a safe work environment and maintains attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
