Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager in Phoenix to lead several departments, including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine. You will optimize staffing, coach team members, and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance while delivering top service.

You will manage schedules, verify deliveries, and participate in inventory processes, partnering with the Store Manager to drive profitability and store goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with at least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a multi-department operation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to coach and develop staff.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and ability to interact with customers.
• Proven leadership to motivate and manage staff while monitoring reports and sales metrics.
• Detail focused with analytical problem solving and planning skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with federal/state regulations on product freshness, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales and operation of multiple departments: Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor costs to optimize productivity.
• Coordinate deliveries, verify invoices, and report shortages or overages.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Lead in-store meetings and communicate standards to staff.
• Address team member concerns and take corrective action when needed.
• Support physical inventory processes and loss prevention efforts.
