Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee the sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and the Beer/Wine departments. You will recruit, train, and coach team members while managing schedules and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating inventory, supervising unloading of deliveries, and ensuring high-quality service and product freshness.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or service.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to give and receive direction in a team environment.
• OutGoing, friendly, positive attitude with customers and team members.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff with knowledge of reports and financial goals.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with federal, state, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Monitor costs, labor, shrink, and losses to improve profitability.
• Assist with store readiness for inventory counts and shipments.
• Schedule staffing and ensure adequate coverage for peak times and holidays.
• Lead team through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews; participate in store meetings.
