Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee sales and operations of multiple departments, including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine, delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will lead, coach, and develop a diverse team, manage scheduling, inventory, and costs, and ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards while partnering with the Store Manager on performance and goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 1 year managerial or supervisory experience in a multi‑department operation within retail, hospitality, or service.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to take directions and work in a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff and understand financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with federal, state, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operation of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine departments.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor costs to maximize productivity.
• Assist with unloading trucks and verify deliveries against invoices; report shortages/overages.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with Store Manager; coach team members.
• Ensure product freshness, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.
