Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.

You will drive sales, ensure product freshness, and manage labor while coaching a diverse team in a fast-paced store environment. You will oversee scheduling, inventory, safety, and quality controls, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and a positive in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with at least 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department operation within retail, hospitality, or service.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work in a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and positive attitude with customers and teammates.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff while tracking reports and goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must hold Food Safety certification and meet regulatory standards.
• Strong organization and planning skills; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Must lift milk trays up to 60 lbs from 9” to 62” for up to 25 hours.
• Must lift boxes up to 50 lbs for up to 25 hours without mechanical help.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine departments.
• Ensure product rotation, freshness, and date controls.
• Control labor costs and shrink to improve profitability.
• Support store readiness for physical inventory counts.
• Oversee truck unloading and verify deliveries vs invoices; report shortages.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, inventory, and department safety.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in promotion decisions.
• Assist hiring, promotions, transfers in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Make timely corrective actions and address team concerns.
