Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Colorado is seeking a Grocery Manager responsible for the sales and operation of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team, manage scheduling, promotions, inventory, and safety, and collaborate with Store Manager on hiring, coaching, and performance reviews, while maintaining store standards and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and possess 1 year managerial or supervisory experience which includes responsibility for managing a department/team within a multi-department operation within the retail, hospitality, or service industry
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to take and give direction in a team environment
• Project a friendly, outgoing attitude and positive demeanor with customers
• Demonstrate leadership to motivate and maintain staff while understanding financial metrics
• Maintain Food Safety certification and comply with regulations for freshness, safety, weights and measures, and store safety

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operation of multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine
• Create schedules to maximize productivity and control labor costs
• Supervise receiving, inventory, and shrink management, reporting shortages and variances
• Coach and evaluate team members, participate in performance reviews, and support merit decisions
• Support store readiness for inventories and ensure safety and compliance across the department
• Collaborate with Store Manager on hiring, promotions, and transfers
• Lead by example to deliver high quality product and customer service
