• Must have 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience in a multi-department retail setting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage staff and review performance

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine departments
• Ensure product freshness and proper rotation; monitor date controls
• Control costs by managing labor and reducing shrink and pilferage
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with Store Manager
• Schedule staffing to maximize productivity and maintain service levels
• Lead coaching and development discussions and conduct performance reviews
• Ensure store readiness for inventories and coordinate with delivery and receiving
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members
• Promote high quality service and exceptional customer experiences
