Sprouts Farmers Market seeks a Grocery Manager to oversee the sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine departments. You’ll drive profitability, manage scheduling, and coach a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of managerial experience, strong communication skills, and a proven leadership ability to motivate staff while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department retail operation
• Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to take and give direction
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet financial goals
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Food Safety certification and compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety standards
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and operations of multiple departments (Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, Beer/Wine)
• Control costs, monitor labor, reduce shrink, and improve profitability
• Coordinate store inventories and assist with physical counts
• Oversee delivery verification, shortages, and reporting to suppliers
• Schedule staff and ensure department safety and compliance
• Coach and develop team members and conduct performance reviews
• Recruit, hire, promote, or transfer team members in coordination with the Store Manager
• Lead in-store communications and teamwork to deliver quality products and service
