Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to support the Grocery Manager in running one of our busiest departments. You’ll help with ordering, inventory, merchandising, and staff supervision to ensure top product quality and customer satisfaction.

You’ll lead a team dedicated to excellent service, assist with hiring and training, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Be at least 18 years old with a flexible schedule.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
• Ability to manage margins, inventory and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and service to customers.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Ensure execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
