Qualifications

• 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department retail operation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented approach
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and drive financial goals
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Food Safety certification and compliance with safety regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Experience managing schedules, labor costs, shrink, and inventory controls

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine departments
• Control costs by improving operations and reducing shrink
• Assist with store readiness for physical inventory counts
• Oversee deliveries, verify invoices, and report shortages/overages
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and department safety
• Coach and evaluate team members, conduct performance reviews, and support promotions
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in recruitment and promotions decisions
• Address team member concerns and manage disciplinary actions as needed
• Create staffing schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Communicate standards, policy changes, and product knowledge to staff
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed
