Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine. You will lead sales, operations, scheduling, and staff development to deliver fresh products and great customer service.

This role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in retail, strong communication, ability to manage costs, and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have at least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a multi-department retail operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to work with a team.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate staff and meet financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food safety certification and adherence to safety regulations are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sales and operations of multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor costs to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Coordinate receiving, stocking, and inventory controls; ensure freshness and date accuracy.
• Coach and evaluate team members; participate in performance reviews and merit decisions.
• Lead store meetings, recruit and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Address staff concerns, document corrective actions, and escalate when needed.
