Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead several customer-focused departments, ensuring product freshness, strong service, and efficient operations in a fast-paced store.

You will supervise staff, coach ongoing performance, and collaborate with Store Manager to meet financial goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. A flexible schedule and commitment to excellent customer experiences are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department operation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to take directions in a team environment.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers and staff.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet financial goals; knowledge of reports and margins is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage schedules and staffing.
• Food safety certification and compliance with food safety standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product handling, rotation, freshness, and date controls.
• Monitor and improve operations to control costs and reduce shrinkage.
• Assist in store readiness for physical inventory counts.
• Oversee unloading of trucks and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Manage ordering, sanitation, back-room inventory, and department safety.
• Provide coaching and development discussions; participate in performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in hiring decisions with Store Manager.
• Lead and evaluate team members; document corrective actions when needed.
• Create schedules to maximize productivity and communicate standards to the team.
• Act as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
