Sprouts Farmers Market in Holladay, UT is seeking a dedicated Assistant Grocery Manager who will help lead one of our busiest store teams and drive customer service excellence. You will assist the Grocery Manager with daily operations, inventory control, and staff development to deliver healthy choices and a great shopping experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to scheduling, training, and safety compliance in a fast-paced natural foods

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in retail management or grocery setting preferred
• Knowledge of inventory controls and merchandising desirable
• Comfort with working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and goal setting
• Contribute to hiring, training, and development of the Grocery Team
• Assist in unloading deliveries and ensuring safety and sanitation compliance
• Support a fast-paced environment and exceptional customer service
