Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers make healthy choices and lead one of the busiest store teams. You will support the Grocery Manager with department merchandising, inventory management, and a focus on excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• Ability to manage a busy department and lead a team.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
