Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to support the Grocery Manager in running a busy department. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service within a fast-paced store environment.

You will handle ordering, inventory, and staff development while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines. This role offers opportunities for growth in a growing healthy-food retailer.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.
• Familiarity with inventory controls and margin considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and goal setting.
• Lead hiring, training, and development of the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
