Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to lead a busy Grocery Team and help customers make healthy choices. You will assist in managing merchandising, inventory, and daily operations to maximize productivity and profit.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
• Leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff with financial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead in recruiting, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Ensure safety, health, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
