Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers make healthy choices while leading one of our busiest store teams. You will assist in managing the Grocery department, oversee inventory, scheduling, and staffing, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

This role requires 1–3 years of retail management, strong communication, and the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and team orientation.
• Outgoing, friendly with a positive attitude and customer interaction.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff; knowledge of reports and financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; able to multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs milk trays and 50 lbs boxes; manual handling.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team that delivers high quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
