Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead multiple departments, including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, and Beer/Wine. You will drive sales, profitability, and store operations while coaching a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory, coaching, and collaboration with the Store Manager on promotions and staffing. A focus on food safety and compliance is essential for success in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in a multi-department retail setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to give and take direction within a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
• Proven leadership ability to build and maintain staff and analyze sales/financial data.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, and Beer/Wine.
• Ensure proper product handling, rotation, freshness, and date controls.
• Control labor costs and reduce loss from shrink, damage, and pilferage.
• Assist with store readiness for inventories and coordinate deliveries.
• Manage ordering, inventory, sanitation, and safety across departments.
• Coach and develop Team Members; participate in performance reviews and promotions.
• Attend in-store meetings and collaborate with Store Manager on staffing decisions.
• Lead and participate in hiring, promotions, and transfers as needed.
• Act as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as required.
• Create staffing schedules to maximize productivity.
