Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Associate Engineering Intern to join the Grid business unit and support senior engineers on transmission and distribution projects. You will assist with calculations, design tasks, and project reporting while gaining practical experience.

The role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in the office and two remote days, and offers exposure to civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering disciplines in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a BS or MS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with strong academics.
• ABET program background or coursework in civil/geotechnical/strength of materials/statics/power is a plus.
• GPA 3.0 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Support project reporting including tracking progress and data.
• Contribute to procurement documents and major equipment specifications.
