Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an Associate Engineering Intern to join the Grid business unit for a summer 2027 start. You will assist senior engineers on projects involving transmission and distribution engineering, gaining hands-on experience across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.

This hybrid internship offers office days with two remote days, exposure to calculations, specifications, and procurement documents, plus project reporting tasks and document preparation for major

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in BS or MS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Strong academic record and ability to work with senior engineers.
• Organized, detail-oriented and self-starting.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office/remote schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications and designs.
• Work on project reporting, tracking progress and data.
• Be involved in power designs and preparing documents for procurement of major equipment, structures and installation services.
