Sargent & Lundy in New Jersey seeks an Associate EngineeringIntern to join a Grid project team, supporting transmission and distribution engineering initiatives with a summer 2027 start target.

Working under senior engineers, you will assist in preparing calculations, specifications, and designs; contribute to project reporting and data tracking; and help prepare documents for major equipment procurement. The role offers a hybrid schedule: three days in the office and two remote days.

Competenze

• Active enrollment in a BS or MS in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with strong academics.
• Other engineering degrees considered if coursework in civil, geotechnical, strength of materials, statics, or electrical power.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
• ABET-accredited program preferred.
• Leadership experience on campus/community is a plus.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in the business area.

Mansioni

• Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
