Sargent & Lundy invites you to join our Grid business unit as an Associate Intern. You will work on a project team, assisting senior engineers in executing transmission and distribution designs, and gaining exposure to calculations, specifications, and procurement documentation.

The role aligns with a target start date in summer 2027 and offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a BS/MS in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with strong academics.
• Other engineering degrees may be considered if relevant coursework is shown in civil, geotechnical, strength of materials, statics, or electrical power.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Contribute to project reporting, tracking progress and data.
• Prepare documents and specifications for procurement of major equipment, structures, and installation services.
