Job summary

Camus Energy Inc. is seeking a self‑motivated Business Development Manager with a hunter mentality to originate and close deals with utilities and data center developers across North America.

You’ll partner with sales, marketing, product and professional services to own a book of opportunities, maintain disciplined CRM hygiene in HubSpot, and drive multi‑million dollar agreements while traveling up to 20% for industry engagements.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of business development and sales in the utility or data center industry.
• Proven hunter with track record of originating and closing deals.
• Experience selling complex, early growth phase products and solutions.
• Strong CRM discipline, with fluent use of HubSpot.
• Able to negotiate moderate-complexity contracts with leadership support.
• Knowledge of power systems, transmission or grid interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of net-new pipeline among data center developers and utility partners across North America.
• Open and develop new prospective and utility partner relationships with a hands-on approach.
• Qualify and progress opportunities using a structured sales methodology.
• Facilitate dialogue to scope development needs and technical requirements of flexible interconnection.
• Forecast and manage pipeline; drive multi-million dollar deals and revenue growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to structure complex agreements and represent Camus externally.
• Establish executive relationships; travel up to 20% for industry events and client engagements.
