Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager of Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead the full life cycle of government contracting outsource engagements. You will oversee proposals, staff assignments, final work product reviews, and the portfolio’s financial performance, while maintaining client relationships and timely billing.

The role requires six or more years of progressive accounting experience, including three years in leading GovCon accounting teams, GAAP, FAR, DCAA expertise, and CPA or CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required.
• Six or more years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of accounting teams in GovCon, required.
• CPA or CPA candidate, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understands and leads all accounting functions (GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, cash, rate calculation).
• Manages close processes and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensures compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA and gov contractor regulations.
• Oversees indirect cost structures, billing, project setup, and profitability.
