Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee GovCon finance engagements. You will lead staff, manage client relationships, and review work products for profitability and accuracy.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 6+ years of accounting with 3+ years leading teams in government contracting, and CPA or CPA candidacy is preferred. Strong Excel and ERP experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Six+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading accounting teams in government contracting.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of GovCon outsource engagements including proposal development and staff oversight.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure revenue recognition, contract accounting, and compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA and GovCon regs.
