Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager of Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee government contracting engagements, including proposal development, staffing, and client management. You will guide GAAP-compliant financial statements, revenue recognition, and regulatory compliance.

Six+ years accounting experience with three+ years leading GovCon teams is expected, along with strong Excel and ERP system skills. A CPA/CPA candidate is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 6+ years progressive accounting experience; 3+ years leading accounting teams in GovCon environment.
• Strong GAAP, FAR, CAS, DCAA knowledge and GovCon regulation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of outsourced finance & accounting engagements for GovCon clients.
• Lead close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual) and GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and contract accounting per regulations.
• Maintain DCAA-compliant accounting system and FAR/CAS compliance.
• Oversee indirect cost structures, provisional billing rates, and pricing support.
• Manage project setup, funding, invoicing, cost allocations, and profitability.
