Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead GovCon accounting engagements, manage staff and client relationships, and drive financial performance. You will supervise close processes, ensure GAAP-compliant statements, and optimize contract accounting, indirect rates, and compliance with FAR, CAS, and DCAA.

The role requires 6+ years in accounting, 3+ years leading teams, and a CPA or candidate is preferred while Excel, Costpoint and Unanet experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• Six+ years progressively responsible accounting experience, incl. team leadership in GovCon.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees full-life cycle of GovCon outsourced finance & accounting engagements.
• Manages close processes and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensures revenue recognition accuracy, contract accounting and indirect rates.
• Maintains FAR, CAS, DCAA compliance and government contractor ERP usage.
