Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead the full lifecycle of government contracting outsource engagements. You will supervise staff, review work, and manage client relationships, with emphasis on accurate reporting, timely billing, and financial performance across projects.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, 6+ years of accounting experience in GovCon, and CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required.
• Six+ years of progressive accounting experience in government contracting.
• CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of GovCon finance and accounting outsource engagements.
• Oversee close processes and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure revenue recognition and contract accounting accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA, and gov contracting rules.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for executives.
