Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead GovCon finance engagements, oversee staff, and review final work products. You will manage client relationships, provide financial reporting, and drive timely billing and issue resolution.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, GovCon regulation experience, and proven leadership of accounting teams. Expect a dynamic environment with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• Six (6) or more years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 3+ years leading accounting teams in GovCon.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of GovCon outsource engagements including staff assignment and performance oversight.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and monthly/quarterly/annual closes.
• Maintain compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA and GovCon regulations; uphold DCAA-compliant systems.
• Monitor indirect cost structures, provisional billing rates, and forward pricing support.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support executive decisions.
• Direct project setup, funding, labor charging, invoicing, cost allocations and profitability reporting.
