Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Customer Engineer to serve as a critical liaison for our DoD customer, ensuring the optimal adoption and secure use of Google Cloud Platform within a government environment.

The role is primarily remote and will support a national footprint from hubs in Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; and Omaha, NE, with emphasis on security and cloud optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• 1+ year of experience with GCP.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies.
• Experience with Google Cloud services and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define requirements, pain points, optimization opportunities, and security concerns and translate into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generate, update, action, and close out assignment tickets in response to customer needs, evolving security concerns, optimization opportunities, and other stimuli.
• Conduct customer engagement activities such as weekly office hours, system monitoring, customer requirement gathering, and basic engineering support necessary to ensure the proper use of Google Platform.
• Work with users to ensure projects are optimized for usage to minimize cost and educate on cloud adoption.
• Collect customer feedback to inform government planning decisions.
• Explore opportunities for service automation and templatization for common service requests.
• Compile feedback and update documentation and processes to improve Zero Trust architecture and cybersecurity accreditation.
