Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Google Customer Engineer to serve as a critical liaison for a DoD customer, focusing on adopting and optimizing Google Cloud in a secure government environment. The role is primarily remote with hubs in Herndon, Tampa, and other locations, requiring strong technical and communication skills.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in cloud computing, 1+ year with GCP, and US Citizenship with active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 1+ years of experience with GCP.
• Strong customer interaction and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices or DoD/DISA policies.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• DevOps practices and CI/CD in cloud environments.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and translate requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
• Generate, update, and close tickets for customer needs and security concerns.
• Conduct customer engagement activities like weekly office hours and monitoring.
• Ensure optimal cloud usage and education to support culture change.
• Provide feedback to government teams on planning impacts.
• Explore service automation and templating for common requests.
• Contribute to documentation and improve Zero Trust cybersecurity accreditation processes.
